Week of 8/23/10

Attention 7th grade students Choir sign ups are in room 310 during the last 5 minutes of lunch all week.  Friday will be the last day to sign up for Choir.

Cafeteria begins serving breakfast at 7:10 am. every morning and finishes serving by 7:30.

Student ID numbers are used for lunch.  (The same number you used from last year.)  There is no A La Carte the first week, we will notify you when it will be available

 

You may pay for meals before school or at morning recess.  ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING LUNCHTIME.  Your cooperation will help the lunch lines move more efficiently.  Any questions please see Mrs. Marquez in the cafeteria at any time, except while lunch is being served

 

The following Dress Code was established to meet the California Educational Code.  Students are expected to wear clothes that meet acceptable standards in safety, health, and neatness.

a.         Shorts and skirts may not be shorter than arm’s length (tips of fingers) (mid-thigh).

b.         Sagging pants are not allowed at school.  Pants must be hemmed, not frayed, and the length may not extend beyond the bottom of the shoe.  Additionally, if pants have holes in them, the holes may not be above mid-section of the thigh or higher than arm’s length (tips of fingers – same as shorts).

c.         Body piercings are not permitted, pierced ears are exception.

 

Inappropriate Clothing

1.       Tops – spaghetti strap, strapless, crop (midriff skin showing).

2.       Shorts may not be shorter than arm’s length – or have splits on side seams.

3.       Sagging/baggy pants – pants must fit and be no more than one size larger than waist and the length may not extend beyond the bottom of the shoe.

4.       Any clothing determined to be gang related will not be allowed.

5.       Pajama-like clothing.

Welcome Back to School

First Day of school is Monday August 23, 2010. 

Education begins the very first day. 

Classes begin promptly at 7:37 a.m.  Please be on time!
