1.         CHIPMAN WILL HAVE AUTHOR, JEFF STONE AT OUR SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 6! The Library has Jeff Stone's books for sale in the library. Mr. Stone will be at our school on Wednesday, May 6. You will attend one of his assemblies with your Language Arts class. All books are $6.00 except the CRANE which is $5.75. You may purchase the books with cash on your free time. Remember to bring your book on Wednesday, May 6, to be autographed by the author

 

2.            Track Practice Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 – 3:00.

 

3.         Attention Stand Strong Students: Ms. Dinsmore has a new schedule for your Saturday 5-9-09 event.  Please pick one up ASAP.

 

4.         Attention 8th grade students: graduation gowns will be sold outside of Mrs. Dinsmore's office on Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th of May.  The gowns will be $18 cash only.  Don't wait until the last minute to buy your gown.  If you are unsure if you are graduating and decide to buy a gown, do not open the gown as refunds cannot be made once the gown is opened. 

5.         8th grade students interested in speaking during graduation please stop by room 310 for more information on Friday May 1st after school.  This will be a brief 10-15 minute meeting, but if you ride the bus you must find other means to get home. 

 

6.         Attention 8th grade students: All blue progress reports are to be turned into Ms. Dinsmore.  This is the only way to monitor if you are eligible to graduate.

 

6.         Softball practice Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 2-3 pm.

 

7.         Boys & Girls Softball Home Game against Sierra Tuesday May 5, 2009 at 2:45 pm.

 

8.         You may attend a sports game here at Chipman if....

1. You attend with your parents.

2. You have a 4.0 card.

3. You have at least a 3.0. GPA requirements will be checked at the gate prior to you entering the field to watch the game.
